Forged completely in ENVE's Ogden, Utah HQ from uni-directional carbon fibre, the hub shell geometry of this piece has been meticulously optimised to boost the performance of the brand’s SES aero wheelsets, as well as any rim of your choice.

This hub showcases a redesigned axle to incorporate ENVE’s ground-breaking Perfect Preload system. The system reliably optimises bearing preload by placing a calibrated wave washer between the bearing and a snap ring fitted on the axle, which efficiently eliminates bearing play. This also saves your time and effort from adjusting preload, effectively reducing premature wear.

Further heightening reliability are the custom, premium-grade stainless steel bearings and races. Improved by full-contact bearing seals on the outboard bearing faces and non-contact seals on the internal faces, these components boost rolling efficiency and ensure seamless performance from the first usage. This radically reduces the need for servicing, cementing the ENVE Carbon Road Hub as virtually maintenance-free.

This bike hub also comes with an anodised, machine milled freehub body crafted from robust 7075 alloy, significantly reducing cog bite. The incredibly responsive 40-tooth ratchet mechanism, coupled with the hub's inbuilt rubber gasket, significantly changes the freehub tone while freewheeling. Conversions from Shimano to Campagnolo or SRAM XD-R versions can be completed without tools or the need to re-dish the wheel.
