Why don’t we sell online?

We firmly believe a bike shouldn’t be bought online. Sure we could sell more bikes if we did, but we’re more interested in selling the right bikes rather than the most bikes.

In our experience most people need a bit of advice so we always like to talk directly to the customer to make sure they get the right bike. Here are some of the reasons why:

Frame size – Sizing is crucial for comfort. Different brands have different ideas on sizing, if your current bike is a medium it might be a completely different size to a medium from another brand. Sometimes brand sizing charts can be a bit misleading too. We will always work out the right size for each customer.

Suitability – There are so many types of bikes on the market. We often get people looking for a certain model when its not right for their needs. If they bought online they would end up with the wrong bike. After talking to us we get them on the right bike.

Set up – We can ship the bike to you, but we always prefer that the bike is collected in-store. We can then set the saddle height properly (crucial for comfort!), and go through all the functions of the bike and after care.
