The Wolf Tooth Valais allows you to attach a saddle bag to a dropper post. Made from high-quality thermoplastic, the Valais protects the post from wear and the seal from damage. It also acts as a temporary support in case of dropper post failure during a ride.Designed with the understanding that riders often prefer to move storage onto the bike for better movement and a lower center of gravity, the Valais solves the problem of interference between saddlebags and dropper posts. By mounting to the upper seatpost, it provides a secure cradle for your saddlebag. The Valais is simple to install and remains strong even in extremely cold temperatures. In the event that your dropper post breaks during a ride, the Valais can be clamped further down the post to keep it extended until you can reach a repair site.Compatibility:- Compatible with any dropper post with a 25mm or 26mm stanchion diameter (please measure your stanchion if unsure)- Note that discrete position droppers may lose the lowest position when using the Valais 25, as it reduces dropper travel by 25mm- Valais 25.25 is compatible with: - Easton Haven - Giant Contact (internal routing) - RaceFace Turbine - RockShox Reverb Stealth - Specialized Command Post - 9Point8 Fall Line - Other posts with 24.75-25.25mm (dependent on cable routing)- Valais 25.26 is compatible with: - Thomson Covert - Fox Transfer - Other posts with 26-26.5mm (dependent on cable routing)- Please note that the Valais limits dropper travel by at least 25mm. There are two models available, one for 25mm diameter stanchions and one for 26mm diameter stanchions. During installation:1. Remove the screw and slide the Valais over the seatpost stanchion.2. Position the Valais at the highest point, then install and tighten the screw to 2-3 NM.3. Install your saddle bag with it as full as it will be on the trail.4. Release all the air from your frame shock, drop the post, and compress the bike suspension fully.5. Ensure there is enough clearance between the tire and the saddlebag. If not, raise the dropper and lower the Valais until there is adequate clearance.6. Reinflate your shock and confirm that the Valais is tightened to 2-3 NM.
